Bike Shed
The main structure is a timber frame with plywood panels on four sides. These are painted with "waterproof" paint and the roof is finished with roofing felt.
Initially the idea was to have a pitched roof to help with rain, but as our garden is small we went for a flat roof to have some space for plant pots (and the neighbours cat). A small flap at the front helps make it less boxy and is sealed on all sides with rubber strips. The shed has survived a few winters now and the only bit that didn't survive was the flap, so a new one made of fencing featherboard has replaced it.
Squirrel Bench
I saw this online and though I would have a go with scrap bits of wood I had left over. I think I got lucky, the dimensions of everything worked out well, it's nicely proportioned.
As pictures circulated within family I made another one for a relative which got a fancy paint job and hole for a squirrel sized umbrella (next project).
Planter
To make up for lack of planting space in the garden I built a planter out of desking wood and fence featherboard. The size was designed around existing growbags.
I was pleased with how quickly this one came together. Here is it in action!
